2017 NGATN Call for Awards
You know “The One”. You have seen him. He shows up to every drill, creates a positive working environment for every Guard Member, eager to help in any way he can. He teaches Sunday school every Sunday, visits junior Guard Members in person when they are hurt or sick between drills, and volunteers at the Food Bank when they need trucks unloaded.
You know “The One”. You have seen her. She is the team player that holds your unit together and makes everyone strive to become a better leader. She volunteers at the local Fire Department, never ignores phone calls when there is a Guard Member in need, and coaches her daughter’s little league team.
Every unit has “The One” individual that makes a positive impact on their unit, their family, and their community. Give back to “The One” and recognize their sacrifice and hard work with one of NGATNs four award categories:
- NGATN Minuteman Award. Maximum of 3 awarded. (1 Army, 1 Air, and 1 either Army, Air or Civilian)
- NGATN Outstanding Service Award. Maximum of 3 awarded. (1 Army, 1 Air and 1 either Army, Air or Civilian)
