Community Service Project

Fisher House of Middle Tennessee (Murfreesboro, TN)

The Fisher House Program is a private - public partnership that supports America's military in
their time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifies of our men and women in
uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that
normally provided by the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs.
The Fisher House of Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro, TN will be a 21-room facility for families
of sick/wounded veterans at the Alvinc C York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. The
Fisher House will become the "home away from home" for families to stay while they visit their
loved one who is a patient at either the Alvin C York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN or
the VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN. For donation information please email Jamie McKnight at
