NGAT Membership 100% for 6th Year PDF Print E-mail
The National Guard Association of Tennessee is proud to report 100% membership to NGAUS for the sixth year in a row. This is a very important milestone for Tennessee. At the 2007 National Conference, NGAUS approved a refund for 2008 in the amount of 25% and a retention refund of 5% for those states who report 100% member by 31 March 2008. We will meet this requirement. The amount of refund that NGAT will receive will be approximately $24,000.

The 100% membership is something that Tennessee can be very proud of. NGAUS reported at the National Guard Executive Director’s meeting in January that NGAUS membership nationally is only 65%. Tennessee is the largest contributor of membership dues of all the states.

Accolades goes out to all the units for their hard work in collecting the dues and getting them in on a timely manner. A special thanks goes to all the deployed officers who made sure that their dues were sent in on time.

The 164th Air Wing in Memphis, Tennessee should also be recognized because they were the first Major Command to report 100%. To all the Officers of the Tennessee National Guard, THANK YOU for supporting NGAT.
