While we are just now catching our breath from the successful NGAUS conference here in Tennessee, it is time to move on to our NGATN State Conference. Mark your calendars for February 25-28, 2010 and join us for an exciting and eventful conference.

Our theme for the 2010 conference is "The Volunteer Team Spirit".  Tennessee has over 18,000 volunteers who have voluneered and served in war zones since 9/11/2001.  This spirit is displayed not only through them, but their families, their employers, the retirees and civilians who hold down the home front while they are gone and all the sponsors who provide the ultimate in equipment that makes their jobs easier.

This year our conference will be held at the Embassy Suites and Conference Center,  www.embassysuitesmurfreesboro.com, 1200 Conference Center Dr., Murfreesboro, TN 37129.  This is the first change of venue for NGATN in 21 years and we are excited.  The hotel has double the seating capacity for our business session and plenty of room for our exhibitors.

We have invited the Enlisted Association of Tennessee, EANGTN, to attend our conference and we are expecting a very large attendance.  This is the first time we have had a combined conference and we have high expectations of its success.

Tennessee continues to have one of the most active and effective legislative action programs in the country.  If you plan to submit resolutions, and we strongly encourage you too, please provide us a draft copy by email to Beverly White at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Please consider this letter your official invitation to join us for our state conference.  Please return the enclosed registration form with the names of all individuals from your organization who will be attending and any requirements they may need.  Tables, table cloths, chairs, electrical and wireless internet are all included with each level of sponsorship that has booth space.  Set-up for exhibits will start Friday morning and we are in the process of planning an extended exhibit time on Friday evening.  Saturday's exhibit hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.. We do plan to include a time during the business session for everyone to visit the exhibits.

If you plan to play golf in the Four Person Scramble on Thursday, February 25, 2010, please check the golf tournament comment on the registration form.
