TRICARE Reimbursement Program
The Tennessee National Guard TRICARE Reimbursement Program helps eligible service members offset the cost of their TRICARE Reserve Select and TRICARE Dental premiums by reimbursing qualifying premiums after they have been paid.
Who Is Eligible?
Active Tennessee National Guard members may be eligible to participate in the program. Some members may not qualify based on their duty status or existing health coverage. Only premiums covering the service member are available for reimbursement at this time.
What the Program Covers
Eligible members can receive reimbursement for premiums paid for:
- TRICARE Reserve Select
- TRICARE Dental Program
Reimbursements are issued after premiums have been paid and apply only to eligible individual coverage.
Who Is Not Eligible?
The program does not reimburse members who:
- Are not eligible for TRICARE Reserve Select or TRICARE Dental.
- Are serving as full-time Guardsmen.
- Are enrolled in health or dental insurance through a civilian employer.
How to Apply
- Confirm your eligibility.
- Complete the required enrollment forms.
- Email your completed enrollment package to tntricare@tn.gov.
